And away we go...

As part of my class called "The Art of the Picturebook", I am going to be reading 40 different picturebooks over the course of July. I will choose books I have never read so that I can look at them critically with a beginner's eyes. It is my goal to not only provide a quick summary, but also look at the artistic aspects of the book as well as the significance of the story. I am going to include books that I like (why waste my time on uninspiring ones) and will hopefully use in my classroom.

I hope that others will find this blog beneficial and will share ideas of some books to read along the way!
